Held June 11-13, 2024, the Chicago Summit advanced the Consortium’s strategic planning efforts with focused sessions to develop its strategic framework. Members gathered at Northwestern Medicine to engage in a formal discussion around rebranding from the “Top Academic Healthcare Emergency Management Consortium” and participated in a Special Events Panel highlighting preparedness for the Democratic National Convention. The event also included a Finance workshop to explore fiscal sustainability, alongside early meetings of the Outreach and Best Practices workgroups.

Attendees enjoyed a tour of Northwestern Medicine hospital facilities and concluded with an insightful Chicago Architecture Boat Tour, blending learning with networking.
