Between June 10–11, Emergency Management professionals from 11 academic hospitals around the U.S. gathered at The Johns Hopkins Hospital for the 3rd annual AHEM Consortium Summit.

Over the course of two days, the attendees discussed best practices in hospital emergency management including decontamination, cyber resilience, improvement planning, and mass casualty incidents. The group also heard expert talks on active assailant response, special pathogen preparedness, and supply chain shortages.
